Breed and Kindred Societies choose to be affiliated to the Royal Agricultural Society to receive the benefits of the umbrella body offered by the A&P Showing Movement. These benefits vary depending on the type of the Breed Society.
One of the major benefits is the ability to have a section or classes at A&P Shows according to the standards of the respective Breed Society. However the jewel in the crown is the Royal A&P Show or Shows. Winning the prestigious RAS tri-coloured ribbon and medal is something most exhibitors aspire to.
The RAS has 66 affiliated breed and kindred societies and these can be found at the following links – Equestrian, Beef, Dairy, Sheep and Other.
