2022 Elections and Meeting Dates

Election of Officers

We are pleased to advise that the nominations received for the vacancies of:

• Executive: President, Vice President, and Executive Member;
• United Breed Society Executive: Beef Cattle Chair, and Dairy Cattle Chair;
• Horse Stewards Council Executive: Chair, National Clean Sport Convenor, and National Judges Convenor;

did not exceed the number of vacancies, therefore no voting is required.

The following information is regarding upcoming Annual General Meetings, plus other discussion meetings, to be held via ZOOM.

Annual General Meetings

As advised last Month, all Annual General Meetings for 2022 will be convened by ZOOM this year. The confirmed date and times of the meetings are as follows:

Saturday 18 June 2022

• 1.00pm to 3.00pm: Equestrian Breed, and Equestrian Main Meetings
• 3.30pm to 4.45pm: United Breeds Society (UBS) Meeting
• 5.00pm to 6.00pm: RAS Annual General Meeting

Other Meetings

Other ZOOM meetings that have been scheduled for members to have open discussion on matters before the above AGM’s are held, include:

Tuesday 24 May 2022

• 7.00pm to 8.00pm: Sheep Breeds – open discussion for affiliated breeds

Monday 30 May 2022

• 7.00pm to 7.45pm: Home Industries – open discussion for anyone
• 8.00pm to 9.30pm: Equestrian Breeds – open discussion for affiliated breeds

Tuesday 31 May 2022

• 7.00pm to 8.00pm: Beef Cattle Breeds – open discussion for affiliated breeds
• 8.15pm to 9.15pm: Dairy Cattle Breeds – open discussion for affiliated breeds

Saturday 18 June 2022

• 10.00am to 12noon: Executive-District Meeting – for District Chairs and Managers
