Cyclone Gabrielle – Please Keep Safe

On behalf of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand, we extend our concern for everyone and ask that you please keep safe in these unprecedented times.

We have contacted all North Island A&Ps extending our sympathies to individuals and communities, and asking if they need any support from us. We encourage you to contact us if there is anything we can do to assist a member organisation.

We also extend our sympathies to those in Muriwai where a volunteer firefighter is missing. As a volunteer based community organisation ourselves, the news that someone supporting their community is missing is most sobering and heartbreaking.

Keep safe everyone and don’t forget that we are here to help where we can.
