President Rachel Walker, Vice President Nic Barkley and Operations Manager Christine Roberts spoke with Her Royal Highness and Sir Tim about the RAS here in New Zealand, how the showing movement has changed in the last few years due to COVID, and how recent events are likely to have an impact in the coming months.
RAS Sheep Breeds Chair, Ian Stevenson and New Zealand Merino Co’s Nicola Peddie then spoke about wool, micron testing here in NZ, and the types of wool products produced from wool of different micron levels.
Finally, Her Royal Highness and Sir Tim were presented with a framed Royal Agricultural Society’s Gold Medal for their ongoing support and commitment to the agricultural space.
